Came across this sterling twist on the book club. It’s not a “club” at all but instead a series of visiting lectures by top authors. Apparently a cadre of writers like Tim O’Brien and a few others are going to regale the suburban demimonde’ with great literature, good munchies and a smattering of gossip. More Jack K. than Jackie Collins. Hopefully this concept will get traction before Harpo hears about it. We can’t find a url but our readers will be the first to know. (possibly: www.clubbook.org)
