I wanted to try to buy the groovyman.com domain name but you already purchased it. I settled for www.thegroovyman.com. This is perfectly fine with me since your site is extremely groovy and I dig what you are saying.

I will be sharing your site on my social media. Keep on keeping on!

Peace & Love,

Somewhere along the line, someone noticed that self-esteem improved performance and that performance improved self-esteem.

Later, someone said, "Let's kickstart the cycle by giving false self-esteem!" Of course, this logically leads to false performance.

Students get self esteem by achieving. They get more self esteem by achieving more difficult tasks. In order to make the cycle happen meaningfully, we (parents, educators, coaches, friends) need to help students achieve.

I don't have a problem with "Student of the Month" as a highlighting gesture, indicating that all students are valued. However, let's not pretend that it is an achievement and expect self-esteem and performance boosts from it.
