The 5.11 “tactical pants” are made for police and military but are also the perfect traveling pants. Tougher than the usual cargo pants, they come with reinforced knees, seams, and pockets. They also have wide belt loops, elasticized waist band, and a double seat.
They’re meant to wear, and they do. As for traveling, you can forget the little man purse because everything you need while tromping around on a day hike in the mountains or the big city will fit into the ample velcro closure pockets.
